The first quarter of 2022 saw varying performance trends among the top 5 news and magazines apps on a unified platform in Latin America. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and active user metrics.

NewsBreak: Local News & Alerts experienced a significant decline in weekly downloads, starting the quarter with around 274K and dropping to approximately 105K by the end of March. Meanwhile, weekly active users fluctuated slightly, from about 2M at the beginning of January to around 1.9M by the end of March.
